Nepal's Prime Minister has also resigned after violent protests against a social media ban in Nepal.
A violent mob in Nepal's capital Kathmandu set fire to the personal residences of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and President Ram Chandra Paudel. Videos on social media show people vandalizing the president's residence.
The protesters damaged the homes of former prime ministers Pushpa Kamal Dahal (Prachanda) and Sher Bahadur Deuba, as well as the residence of Energy Minister Deepak Khadka, while also setting fire to the Parliament House. 19 killed, 100 injured in Nepal riots over social media ban.
Several ministers resigned from their posts as protests continued despite the government imposing a nationwide curfew. On Monday, 20 people were killed and more than 250 injured in clashes. When protesters tried to storm parliament, police fired tear gas and rubber bullets.
